Outer coating isolates the pipe from soil, water and chemicals; inner lining resists the conveyed medium — to GB/T 23257, SY/T 0413 and DIN 30670, on spiral substrates up to DN3800 in the same factory.
Fusion-bonded epoxy + copolymer adhesive + polyethylene, formed in one pass: the epoxy base supplies adhesion and cathodic-disbondment resistance, the adhesive fuses epoxy and PE into one body, and the PE top coat takes mechanical impact and soil stress. To GB/T 23257 and DIN 30670; thickness normal ≥2.5 mm, reinforced ≥2.9 mm, extra-heavy ≥3.7 mm.
Where it goes: long-distance oil, gas and water trunk lines, rocky mountain sections, river crossings, saline high-resistivity soils; with cathodic protection the design life exceeds 30 years, and every pipe passes spark holiday detection before shipment.
Outer 3PE and inner fusion-bonded epoxy are formed on the same line in one pass — both walls anti-corrosive at once, no separate lining needed; both coatings are inspected together, and adhesion and holiday rate are certified before shipment.
Where it goes: large-diameter water transmission, oilfield gathering, plant process piping; inner FBE is water- and abrasion-resistant for stable water quality, outer 3PE handles the buried environment — DN200–DN3800 fully covered.
Epoxy powder is electrostatically sprayed then fusion-cured into a film with strong adhesion and cathodic-disbondment resistance; in two-layer 2FBE the inner coat protects and the outer coat resists abrasion. Service temperature −30 to 110 °C, covering arctic and hot-oil duty, to CAN/CSA Z245.20.
Where it goes: hot-oil lines, desert and arctic pipelines, marine steel piles, station process piping — the first choice where high temperature, a thin coating and cathodic protection must work together.
Epoxy coal-tar paint wrapped with glass cloth — three-oil-two-cloth, four-oil-three-cloth and six-oil-two-cloth give normal, reinforced and extra-heavy grades to SY/T 0447; low cost and proven practice, applied in the plant or on site for field joints and repair.
Where it goes: buried municipal water and sewer networks, fire and heating service pipes, field joints and old-line rehabilitation — the best value for buried projects with tight budgets and moderate duty.
IPN8710 interpenetrating-polymer-network paint is non-toxic and odor-free, evaluated for drinking-water hygiene with a sanitary permit; strong adhesion and permanent immersion resistance — suitable for steel-pipe and tank interiors alike.
Where it goes: potable-water pipe interiors, water towers and tanks, pump casings, secondary water-supply facilities; commonly paired with epoxy coal-tar or 3PE externally as a complete outer-plus-inner protection package.
Cement mortar is centrifugally cast onto the interior, separating water from the steel wall — against tuberculation, rust and water-quality drift, to CECS 10 and ISO 4179; the mortar self-heals, and it is the lowest-cost internal protection for large diameters.
Where it goes: large-diameter water transmission mains, water-transfer projects, drainage and pump-station piping — standard above DN800; combined with external 3PE as the classic water-main package.
Shot-blasting to Sa2.5, then FBE powder, PE side-extrusion or mortar centrifugal casting — every layer is applied in the same plant and thickness is gauge-checked continuously. Cross-linked processes cover −30 °C arctic service to 110 °C hot oil.
Dedicated anti-corrosion plant with 200,000 ㎡ annual capacity; spiral, ERW and seamless substrates up to DN3800 are all coated in-house, and finished pipes go straight to hydrostatic test and bundling next door.

3PE + PSL2 spiral substrate, 100% NDE, 30-year design life.
TPEP or 3PE + cement-mortar lining, DN800–DN3800.
Epoxy coal-tar ordinary/heavy grade, budget-friendly.
FBE / 2FBE for wide temperature range and strong adhesion.
IPN8710 non-toxic inner coating with hygienic approval.
Epoxy coal-tar or heat-shrink systems matched to the line coating.
3PE is an outer-wall three-layer system (FBE + adhesive + PE) protecting against soil and chemicals only; TPEP forms outer 3PE and inner fused epoxy in one pass, so both walls are anti-corrosive at once — used for water and gas transmission.
Epoxy coal-tar is cheaper, suited to ordinary buried municipal lines and repair joints; 3PE offers higher mechanical strength and 30+ years of life — preferred for long-distance mains, rocky sections and key projects.
IPN8710 is a non-toxic interpenetrating-polymer paint for potable-water pipes and tanks, with sanitary approval; cement-mortar lining suits large-diameter water mains — isolates the medium, prevents tuberculation, low cost, long life.
