Dazhai Road Municipal Project - China Railway First Group Construction & Installation Engineering Co., Ltd. Project Background The Dazhai Road West Section municipal project runs from the west side of Hanchi Road in the west to the east side of Fuyuan 4th Road in the east, with a total road length of about 3 km and a standard-section red-line width of 40 meters. It is an urban secondary arterial road built in the form of "elevated main line + ground-level auxiliary road", with four lanes in both directions, spanning two administrative districts. The construction scope covers roads, bridges, stormwater and sewage, traffic, lighting, landscaping and ancillary works. As a key "interconnectivity" project between Xi'an's main urban area and the Xixian New Area, and one of the city's "Eight New Breakthroughs" priority tasks, the project will, upon completion, enable fast connection between Xi'an's main urban area and the Fengdong New City area of the Xixian New Area. It forms a vital traffic network for the relatively enclosed area between the Xi'an Ring Expressway and the West Third Ring Road, effectively easing traffic pressure on the two arterial roads of Kunming Road and Keji Road and accelerating the "Xi'an-Xianyang integration" process, while also being of great significance to commercial development along the Dazhai Road corridor. Supply Overview The base pipes for the project are spiral welded steel pipes in two diameters, D1036 and D1848. The inner walls feature extra-strength double-layer fusion-bonded epoxy (2FBE) coating at 800 microns, the outer walls have extra-strength 3PE anti-corrosion coating, and the external protective layer is FRP (fiberglass-reinforced plastic).
